Homes Presented to Veterans and Active Military Personnel

According to TSN.ua: In Bucha, two fully furnished apartments were granted to veterans and active-duty soldiers, who received the properties with complete ownership rights. The handover ceremony was attended by Mayor Anatolii Fedoruk and representatives of the developer, Royal House. Each apartment measures 43.4 square meters.

The units come equipped with furniture, household appliances, essential items, children's toys, and food packages. One recipient is veteran tank commander Valentyn Oleksienko, who served with the 3rd Separate Tank Brigade. He sustained severe injuries in the line of duty, resulting in a first-degree disability.

'No one gave me a chance to survive. Then they said I'd be bedridden. Today, although I'm in a wheelchair, I am in my own apartment. I am very grateful to the developer for gifting such a beautiful home and even filling the refrigerator with food—it makes you feel needed.' - Valentyn Oleksienko

The second apartment went to active serviceman David Davydov, who has been serving since 2014. His family, including two young children, is currently abroad. Bucha's Mayor Anatolii Fedoruk emphasized the shared responsibility of the state and business in supporting the military:

'We all owe a debt to our defenders. Alongside state programs, it is crucial for socially responsible businesses to contribute to ensuring dignified living conditions for those defending the country.' - Anatolii Fedoruk

This initiative is part of broader efforts to support those who have served since the conflict with Russia began in 2014. The developer Royal House has previously provided housing for military personnel in the 'New England' residential complex. Construction is currently underway on the new Park Royal complex in Bucha, being built on a former field. Plans for the area also include a shopping mall and supermarket.

Nataliia Horai, a representative of the developer, stated: 'We support servicemen who have been fighting since 2014, who have lost their homes or currently have nowhere to live. For us, it's important that they receive not just square meters, but a barrier-free space where they can feel safe and comfortable.'
