In the Czech Republic, a suspect in the murder of a missing Ukrainian from Transcarpathia has been detained.
According to ТСН: In the Czech city of Frýdek-Místek, near Ostrava, the body of 22-year-old Ukrainian Andriana Ofrim from Transcarpathia, who went missing on November 21, was found.
According to local police, the body of the girl, who had been wanted, has been discovered. Law enforcement officials have detained a suspect who confessed to committing the crime.
After all procedural procedures are completed, the girl's body will be handed over to her family and transported to Ukraine for burial.
Earlier, it was reported about the search for Andriana Ofrim. Her room contained a phone, money, and clothes. The girl was from the village of Kobiletska Polyana in the Rakhiv district.
Additional cases of violence
It is reminded that at the end of November, it became known that in Vienna, a 21-year-old Ukrainian burned in a car. The police noted:
“the autopsy showed - the victim died a violent death”. The deceased had blunt force trauma, but the main cause of death was asphyxiation.
It turned out that the deceased is Danilo Kuzmin, the son of the deputy mayor of Kharkiv, Sergey Kuzmin. The murder may have been provoked by financial motives, as a significant sum was withdrawn from the victim's crypto wallet. The police have already detained two suspects in the crime.
The situation with violence against Ukrainians abroad raises concerns. These events highlight the need for enhanced safety measures for our compatriots, especially in foreign countries. It is essential for law enforcement agencies in Ukraine and abroad to work together to ensure the safety and rights of our citizens.
