The US State Department on the key to ending the war in Ukraine

Tommy Pigott said this during a briefing in Washington.
Tommy Pigott, a representative of the US State Department, noted that negotiations are necessary to end the full-scale war in Ukraine.
In response to a question about trust in Putin, who prolongs the negotiation process, Pigott noted that the key to a diplomatic solution to the conflict is involving all parties in dialogue.
'This is not a question of trust, it is a question of actions. The president described how disappointed he is with the actions we have seen from Russia in recent weeks. Earlier, Trump responded whether Putin should first meet with Zelensky before meeting with him.

It was also noted that the compliance with the deadline and Putin's meeting with the President of Ukraine depend on him.Read also
