NABU and SAP conduct searches at Yermak's: what is known about the events.
According to ТСН: The head of the President's Office of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, is being searched today, November 28th. NABU and SAP employees are already working in the government quarter.
People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak confirmed this information, noting:
"NABU and SAP have been conducting searches at Andriy Yermak since the morning. If anything, prepare to defend NABU/SAP if needed. P.S. Confirmation from UP".
Journalists recorded that about 10 NABU and SAP employees entered the government quarter. It is worth noting that at a closed meeting between President Volodymyr Zelensky and the Servant of the People faction, the issue of Yermak's possible dismissal was discussed. Party leader Olena Shuliak confirmed that this issue was raised by Deputy Mariana Bezuhla, and the president responded to it. Shuliak emphasized that the decision to appoint or dismiss Yermak is made solely by Zelensky.
Additionally, the head of NABU, Semen Kryvonos, reported new suspicions in the corruption case in the energy sector the day before. He noted that the investigation is moving into an open financial phase, in which incoming funds and their legalization are actively researched. NABU has thousands of hours of audio recordings and has also seized a large number of digital media and documents. Kryvonos added that while energy was a priority, funds were also coming from other sectors, and the number of suspects in the case continues to grow.
These events indicate serious shifts in the investigations of corruption schemes in Ukraine involving high-ranking officials. Searches at Yermak's could be an important step in the fight against corruption in the country and indicate the readiness of law enforcement agencies to act independently of influential figures.
