Kyiv: during a fight, a man strangled an acquaintance with metal handcuffs.

According to ТСН: A tragic event occurred in the Holosiivskyi district of the capital during a regular dinner with alcoholic beverages. A 33-year-old man used metal handcuffs to commit murder during a fight.

Details of the incident on Antonovicha

The incident took place in one of the apartment buildings on Antonovicha Street. It has been established that a 34-year-old Kyiv resident came to visit an acquaintance, after which a 33-year-old man from Chernivtsi, who had recently moved to Kyiv, joined them.

During the feast, a conflict arose between the men, which escalated into a fight. In the heat of the argument, the perpetrator grabbed the metal handcuffs that were in the apartment and strangled his opponent with them. After committing the crime, he fled the scene.

Arrest and punishment

The body of the deceased with signs of violent death was discovered by medics who called the police. Operatives and criminal analysts quickly identified the suspect and tracked him down.

"Investigators detained the offender in accordance with Article 208 of the CPC of Ukraine. He has been informed of the suspicion of intentional murder (part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine),"

The suspect is currently in custody. If found guilty in court, he could face up to 15 years of imprisonment.
