Over 100 residents evacuated in Kyiv due to drone attack on high-rise: video from the scene.
As a result of a Russian drone attack on a high-rise building in Kyiv's Solomyansky district, over 100 people were evacuated. This was reported by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko. Two people were injured as a result of the shelling.
In his message, Klitschko noted that the enemy drone caused a fire in a building in the Solomyansky district. Apartments on the 17th, 18th, and 19th floors were affected. Emergency services are currently working at the scene.
According to the Kyiv City Military Administration, damages were recorded on the 17th-21st floors, and the fire occurred on the 20th floor.
At 22:30, Klitschko reported that 100 people were evacuated from the building by rescuers, and medical assistance was provided to the injured on the spot. Ambulance crews continue to remain near the building.
The Kyiv City Military Administration also reported debris falling in the Shevchenkivsky district. Fortunately, there are no casualties.
Earlier, an explosion occurred in the Solomyansky district of the capital. It was later established that an enemy drone struck a residential building, leading to a fire on the upper floors.
