In Kyiv - a severe shortage of bus drivers: ready to provide housing and army reservation.
The Kyiv passenger transportation market is on the brink of a personnel crisis
Recently, advertisements for minibus driver vacancies have started appearing on the capital's market. This may indicate changes in agreements between recruitment centers and transport companies.
Employers are already offering a social package, including accommodation and meals, informs Informator.
Special attention is paid to candidates of retirement age, persons with UBD status, and drivers over 50 years old. The requirements for applicants include having driving licenses of categories DE and D.
According to an HR manager of one of Kyiv's ATPs, this situation may lead to experienced drivers of retirement age taking the wheel of minibuses.
Checks by TCC have intensified at companies. Currently, documents are being checked right at the workplace. This has been particularly difficult for those who did not update their data in summer, reports a driver from Darnytskyi district.
Driver salaries range from 15 to 70 thousand hryvnias, but the real average income is about 30 thousand. Payment is made daily and consists of a fixed rate and a percentage of revenue.
Some carriers, for example, the owners of routes №720 and №360, offer additional benefits such as accommodation in a dormitory with the possibility of later renting an apartment at affordable prices.
Industry specialists predict an increase in competition among carriers for qualified drivers, which may lead to salary increases in the near future.
Let's also remind: the personnel shortage is forcing companies to revise age limits.
