In Kyiv, during the rain and power outages, fireworks were launched: police began searching.
According to ТСН: In Kyiv, despite power outages and heavy rain, one resident decided to launch fireworks in the sky.
Video of the fireworks exploding over residential buildings in the Troieshchyna area quickly spread across social media.
Kyiv police reported that no calls had been received regarding this incident on the 102 hotline, but specialists have already begun searching for fireworks enthusiasts.
"We are processing the fact of the discovered publication," said the Kyiv police in a comment to TSN.ua.
It should be noted that starting from November 6, 2023, a law came into effect in Ukraine that bans the use and distribution of fireworks, firecrackers, and sparklers. Violation of this law may lead to administrative or criminal liability, and violators face fines ranging from 17 to 34 thousand hryvnias or imprisonment for up to five years.
Ukrainians are urged to report to the special line 112 if they see people launching fireworks.
Thus, the new law aims not only to ensure the safety of citizens but also to reduce noise pollution and stress sensitivity among the population. Considering recent events, it is important to adhere to established norms and respond to violations to avoid troubles in the future.
