According to ТСН: An air alert has been declared in the capital and several regions of Ukraine due to a mass attack by strike drones.

The Kyiv City State Administration reported a threat of ballistic weapon use.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko noted that the capital is under attack by drones, and currently, there are about 15 drones over the city. According to city sources, explosions can be heard in Kyiv.

According to information from the Air Forces of Ukraine, hostile drones are maneuvering in the airspace of several regions, attempting to break through to key populated areas.

Situation in the regions

The situation in the regions looks as follows:

  • Kyiv Region. Elevated danger for Brovary, Vyshhorod, Beryslav, and Velyka Dymerka — UAVs are moving in a western direction. A drone has also been spotted moving north from the Kagarlyk area.

  • Chernihiv Region. A group of drones passed by Korop, Borzna, Ichnya, and Bobrovytsia, heading directly towards Kyiv Region.

  • Sumy Region. Hostile drones have been reported near Buryn, Terny, and Dubovyazivka, continuing their movement in a western direction.

  • Kharkiv Region. UAVs are flying past Balakliia and Barvinkove, maneuvering westward.

  • Poltava Region. Drones have been detected in the southern part of the region, maintaining a northwestern course.

Authorities urge residents to stay in safe places until the alert is lifted and not to ignore siren signals. Air defense forces are working to eliminate threats.

It is noteworthy that groups of hostile drones have been spotted over several regions of Ukraine. Earlier that same day, an air alert was declared in Kyiv.

The situation remains tense, and local authorities urge citizens to exercise caution. The alert has not subsided, making it important to follow updates and instructions from competent authorities.
