The number of dead in Lozova, Kharkiv Oblast has increased as a result of the Russian shelling on the night of August 5. It is currently known that the occupiers killed two people.

This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov, on Telegram.

Currently, work is underway in the city to eliminate the consequences of the night Russian shelling. 'This city was attacked at night. Preliminary data indicates 34 'shaheds', two locations. All of this is critical infrastructure,' Synegubov noted.

The occupiers struck the railway station, traction substation, and locomotive depot. According to the head of the Kharkiv OVA, the destruction is significant.

As a result of the attack, two people died. Additionally, ten people were injured, including two children. The injured received medical assistance.

'Currently, all relevant headquarters have been established. We are working on-site together with the city authorities and 'Ukrzaliznytsia'. The first issue is to eliminate the emergency situation, clear the debris, and make sure there are no people trapped under the rubble. After that, we will work on restoring train traffic to ensure our transport infrastructure is operational,' Synegubov noted.

It is worth noting that on the night of August 5, the occupiers carried out the most massive attack on Lozova during the entire period of the full-scale war.

In addition, Ukrzaliznytsia reported that as a result of the Russian shelling, a duty mechanic from one of the units was killed.

Later, the State Emergency Service showed photos of the consequences of the Russian attack on Lozova.

The event in Lozova, Kharkiv Oblast, where Russian occupiers carried out a massive attack and caused significant destruction, resulted in the death of two people and injuries to ten others, including two children. Local government authorities and 'Ukrzaliznytsia' are working to eliminate the consequences and restore the transport infrastructure for the further movement of trains.
