According to ТСН: In the morning of December 6, powerful explosions were heard in Lutsk during an air raid alert. Sirens sounded again in the Volyn region at 06:27. The city was attacked by drones.
Monitoring channels and the city mayor reported the damage.
“Three drones are moving towards Lutsk from different directions,” said Mayor Ihor Polishchuk.
Local media informed about the explosions and the rising smoke. The mayor confirmed that the air defense system was actively working in Lutsk.
Later, information appeared in monitoring chats that power supply was lost in part of the regional center. Polishchuk also reported that fires occurred at food warehouses in one of the city’s neighborhoods.
Moreover, explosions also occurred in Poltava in the morning. Sirens in the region have been sounding for more than nine hours – starting from 22:42 on December 5.
This attack on Lutsk and Poltava indicates an increase in tension in the region, as despite the alert, Ukrainian military continues to defend the airspace. The situation remains tense, and local authorities urge residents to exercise caution and follow official information.
