The government changed its approach: hospitals and all electric transport were disconnected in Lviv

According to ТСН: In the middle of the night on January 7, several hospitals and municipal electric transport in Lviv were left without electricity.

Mayor Andriy Sadovyi confirmed this information. He reported that the reason for the disconnection lies in the government's change of approach to the classification of critical enterprises. As a result, medical institutions and electric transport fell into general disconnection groups.

“This means that now artificial respiration devices, trams, and trolleybuses must operate according to disconnection schedules. This is nonsense. From this night, the city is forced to operate according to a new schedule,” the mayor emphasized.

Sadovyi also noted that the city is currently taking measures to improve the operation of electric transport on routes.

It is worth mentioning that earlier, the Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine Oleksiy Kuleba reported that the government is preparing an important decision regarding electricity. It was about the possibility of avoiding disconnections in some settlements where prolonged emergency interruptions in electricity supply were recorded.

This situation underscores the importance of reliable electricity supply for critical institutions, especially in the medical field. In the context of increasing demands and new challenges related to energy security, the decisions of the government and local authorities can significantly affect the quality of medical services and the operation of electric transport in the region.
