According to ТСН: A tragic fire occurred at a nightclub in the Indian state of Goa, resulting in the deaths of at least 23 people. This was reported by the state's chief minister, Pramod Sawant.
The fire broke out in a restaurant-club located in the Arpora area. The police noted that the fire appeared suddenly, and many visitors did not have time to leave the premises in time.
Investigation and assistance to victims
The state authorities have already begun an official investigation into the causes of this tragedy. The chief minister assured that the state government would provide all necessary assistance to the victims and the relatives of the deceased.
This tragedy highlights the need for enhanced security measures in places of mass gatherings. The authorities in Goa promise to take all necessary steps to prevent such occurrences in the future. At the same time, the situation in other regions, particularly in Sudan, where armed conflicts are ongoing, raises many questions. In particular, as a result of attacks by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), at least 114 people have died, including 46 children.
