Powerful explosions in Yeysk: Russia's air defense repels massive drone attack.

According to ТСН: Powerful explosions were heard at night in the suburbs of Yeysk in Russia's Krasnodar Krai. According to preliminary reports, the Russian air defense attempted to repel an aerial attack using drones.

Local residents report at least three explosions that occurred directly in Yeysk and nearby areas. Eyewitnesses note that the loud sounds caused "tremors in the window frames," and a "fireball" could be seen in the sky.

Explosions in the Slavyansky District

Explosions were also recorded in the Slavyansky District of Krasnodar Krai. Residents report observing flashes in the sky at various parts of the district, and a glow from a fire was visible in one of the villages. Preliminary reports indicate that the air defense is repelling kamikaze drone attacks.

Details of the Attack

According to eyewitnesses, the attack began around 00:45 local time and is ongoing. People counted about ten explosions; however, there is currently no official information about casualties or damage.

It was previously reported that drones had already attacked Yeysk, as well as the cities of Saratov and Engels. Temporary restrictions on operations have also been introduced at Krasnodar Airport.

SBU Special Operation

It should be noted that the day before, Ukrainian special forces of the "Alpha" Center SBU attacked with drones the Russian oil extraction platform named after Filanovsky in the Caspian Sea. According to SBU information, at least four hits on the platform owned by "Lukoil-Nizhnevolzhskneft" have been confirmed. As a result of this attack, oil and gas extraction from over 20 wells was halted.

These events in Krasnodar Krai indicate a tense situation in the region related to potential drone attacks.
