In Romania, a drone with a parachute was found: what is known about the mysterious discovery.
According to ТСН: On Sunday, a drone equipped with a parachute was discovered on Mount Strimtu in Romania. This finding was reported by the Romanian publication Digi24.
A 49-year-old man, who participated in an organized hunt, found the aircraft among the trees and notified the police.
Details of the drone discovery
Mount Strimtu is located in Arges County, approximately 150 km northwest of Bucharest. According to reports, the drone measures about two meters in width and appears to be undamaged; a parachute was attached to it.
The police have already notified the relevant services, which will begin an investigation to determine the purpose of this drone and how it ended up in this area.
Similar incident in Turkey
Recently, in Turkey, in Balikesir province, a drone that fell into a wasteland was also found. Local farmers handed this discovery over to the authorities. This is already the second case of a drone falling in Turkey. On December 19, a Russian-made Orlan-10 drone crashed in rural areas located 50 km from Istanbul.
These incidents raise questions about the safety of drones in airspace, especially in border and rural areas. Authorities are strengthening control over the use of drones to avoid potential threats and risks to residents.
