According to TSN.ua: A tense standoff unfolded in Ternopil when a local man, brandishing an axe and lighting bottles filled with an unidentified substance, confronted staff from the Territorial Recruitment Center (TCC) during a mobilization attempt. The incident took place at the 'Druzhba' garage cooperative. The suspect, born in 1969 and a resident of Ternopil, was already wanted for violating military registration rules.

No injuries were reported as a result of the altercation. Police negotiators managed to de-escalate the situation, convincing the man to exit the garage facility. He now faces up to three years in prison for threatening a law enforcement officer.
