According to ТСН: A drone incident occurred in the western part of Turkey, in the Balıkesir province, where an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) crashed in a wasteland. Farmers who discovered the drone immediately reported their finding to the authorities.

"The drone crashed in a wasteland near Salur, in the Manisa district of Balıkesir province. It was found by farmers working in the area. It has been handed over to the authorities," the television channel reports.

Witnesses of the drone's fall, the origin of which has not yet been established, informed the gendarmerie about the incident.

Response from law enforcement

Law enforcement officials promptly arrived at the scene, taking necessary safety measures and conducting an initial inspection of the drone.

"The unmanned aerial vehicle, the Russian origin of which has not yet been confirmed, has been sent to Ankara for a detailed technical examination," the television channel notes.

Additionally, another incident recently occurred in Turkey: on Friday, December 19, a Russian-made "Orlan-10" drone crashed. This happened in a rural area 50 km from Istanbul. Turkish authorities have initiated an investigation into this event.

This incident demonstrates the increasing level of attention to unmanned aerial vehicles in the region and emphasizes the importance of their control.
