Explosions in Zaporizhzhia: there are injuries and infrastructure damage.
According to ТСН: Today, two explosions occurred in Zaporizhzhia, resulting in an air raid alert being declared in the region.
This was reported by the head of the OVA, Ivan Fedorov.
“Explosions in the Zaporizhzhia region. Stay in safe places until the warning is over,” he noted.
Later, Fedorov announced that another explosion had taken place. The Air Force had previously warned about the threat of airstrikes.
“One of the strikes targeted the industrial infrastructure of Zaporizhzhia. Preliminary reports indicate one person was injured. The second strike targeted one of the settlements in the region. Preliminary reports indicate two people were injured,” he added.
As a reminder, in the city of Okhtyrka, three drones hit a nine-story building, resulting in seven people being injured.
On the night of December 8, Russian forces launched 149 strike drones of various types at Ukraine. The air defense managed to neutralize 131 drones in the north, south, and east of the country. Another 16 UAVs hit 11 locations, with debris falling in four of them.
These events once again highlight the tense situation in Ukraine, where the threat of airstrikes remains high. The recent explosions in Zaporizhzhia demonstrate the seriousness of the challenges faced by local residents and the need for constant preparedness from the relevant services. The safety of the population remains a priority in such conditions.
