Russia again attacked Zaporizhzhia: restrictions on electricity in the city and region.
Attacks by Russian troops on Zaporizhzhia
According to ТСН: Today, Russian military forces again attacked Zaporizhzhia, leading to restrictions on electricity supply in the city and region.
The head of the Zaporizhzhia OVA, Ivan Fedorov, reported that:
«Due to the hostile attack on Ukraine, particularly in the Zaporizhzhia region, there are restrictions on electricity supply. Specialists from 'Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo' are working on restoration and stabilization of the system».
He noted that water and hospitals have been switched to generator operation, which allows critical infrastructure to remain functional. Additionally, more 'Points of Resilience' are being opened in the region to support the population.
Local community pages inform that there is a complete power outage in Zaporizhzhia. Readers have noted that in many areas of the city there is also no water and heating.
We remind you that as a result of attacks by the Russian Federation, serious problems with heating, electricity, and water also arose in Kryvyi Rih. In addition, the city of Dnipro experienced a full blackout due to strikes on the energy infrastructure. All thermal power plants (TPPs) and substations in the region have been stopped.
This attack has caused serious consequences for the life of the cities, where delays in the restoration of electricity supply may last for a long time. In response to the crisis, local authorities are actively mobilizing resources to support residents and ensure necessary conditions for survival in such difficult circumstances.
