In October, more than ten private schools for UAV operators underwent attestation.
In the month of October, more than ten private schools for training UAV operators received state certification. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.
«In October alone, more than 10 private UAV schools received certification», - noted Fedorov.
He also added that considering the current dynamics, by the beginning of 2025 all private UAV schools may receive certification.
Fedorov reported that training in certified schools is conducted according to a program developed in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Defense. Schools must have drones for practical training and experienced instructors to get certified. Each school issues certificates to graduates, which are the basis for assigning a military accounting specialty.
According to Fedorov, the certification of private schools expands opportunities for entrepreneurs and changes the quality standards of education in this field.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense reported on the issuance of an official permit to a private UAV operator school under a simplified procedure. One of the recipients was the Global Drone Academy in Kyiv.
Recall that in early October, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a resolution allowing the creation of certified private schools for training drone operators.
Also, in the «Diia» application, the possibility to join the Drone Army appeared, as stated by the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.
