Russian drone hits residential building in Okhtyrka: rescuers evacuated 35 people.
According to ТСН: At night, Russian troops launched drone strikes on a nine-story building in the city of Okhtyrka. As a result, a fire broke out in apartments from the second to the fifth floor.
According to the State Emergency Service, rescuers managed to evacuate 35 residents while extinguishing the fire.
“Another 7 people, including 1 child, were rescued from damaged apartments”.
Due to the threat of repeated attacks, firefighting efforts had to be temporarily suspended. Currently, the dismantling of damaged structures is ongoing.
Another incident in Chernihiv
An incident was also recorded in Chernihiv, where an enemy drone exploded near a multi-story building. This resulted in destruction, fire, and injuries to two individuals.
The situation in Okhtyrka and Chernihiv underscores the ongoing threat from enemy attacks on civilian objects. Local services continue to operate under dangerous conditions to ensure the safety of residents and mitigate the consequences of the destruction.
