Ukraine Launches Massive Strike on Russia: S-400 System, Steel Plant, and Military Train Hit.
Ukrainian Defense Forces Conduct Major Strikes
According to TSN.ua: In a significant escalation, Ukraine’s Defense Forces carried out coordinated attacks on Russian military and industrial assets, including targets within temporarily occupied territories. The strikes hit an S-400 surface-to-air missile launcher, the Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant, a military train, and multiple command posts. Additionally, concentrations of enemy personnel were also targeted. These operations reflect Ukraine's ongoing campaign to degrade Russia's warfighting capabilities.
Specific Targets Confirmed
Near the village of Hvardiiske in the occupied Crimean peninsula, Ukrainian forces successfully struck an S-400 launcher. The Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant, located in the occupied Luhansk region, sustained damage from the attacks. In the vicinity of Novosvitlivka, also in occupied Luhansk, a Russian military train was hit. Furthermore, a drone control center was targeted near Huliaipole in the Zaporizhzhia region. Ukrainian forces also struck a concentration of enemy troops in Nova Tavolzhanka, a village in Russia’s Belgorod region. Additional personnel concentrations were hit in the following areas:
- Berezove (Dnipropetrovsk region)
- Basivka (Sumy region)
- Huliaipole (Zaporizhzhia region)
The strikes also targeted a Russian Valdai radar system near Hvardiiske in occupied Crimea. Warehouses storing materiel and supplies were hit in the areas of Rybynske (occupied Donetsk region) and Novoselivka (occupied Zaporizhzhia region). Finally, a concentration of enemy personnel near Dorozhnie in occupied Donetsk region was also struck. For an English-speaking audience, it is important to note that these attacks demonstrate Ukraine’s ability to strike deep behind enemy lines, disrupting logistics and command structures that are critical to Russia’s military operations.
These operations highlight a renewed intensity in Ukrainian efforts to counter Russian aggression, particularly in occupied territories. The destruction of military infrastructure and supply depots is likely to hinder the enemy’s ability to conduct effective defense and sustain combat operations. Analysts expect such actions to continue reshaping the regional balance of power, further escalating tensions in the conflict.
