Frosts up to -20 degrees will cover Ukraine again: meteorologists warn of ice.
According to ТСН: On Tuesday, frosty weather is expected in Ukraine. The coldest will be in the northern regions, where the temperature will drop to -15-20 degrees, in the central regions -10-14 degrees, and in the south and Zakarpattia -6-12 degrees.
According to the forecasts of meteorologist Nataliia Didenko, the temperature in the north will fluctuate between -10-14 degrees, while in other regions it will be -6-9 degrees. Ice is expected on the roads.
"Snow will pass tomorrow in the western regions of Ukraine, in most regions - without significant precipitation, the anticyclonic nature of the weather," she noted.
In Kyiv on January 13, snow is forecasted. At night, the temperature will drop to -18 degrees, and during the day it is expected to be -12 degrees.
Forecasts for the coming days
Didenko also added that it will be slightly warmer on January 15-16, but another cold snap is expected again.
It is reminded that Ukraine was covered by snowfalls, and then strong frosts arrived - in a number of regions it was -20 degrees.
According to the State Hydrometeorological Service, the frost wave that has begun will last at least until January 14-15. Meteorologists urge citizens to be careful on the roads and to follow safety measures in conditions of severe frosts.
