Russia has disrupted railway services to the port of Pivdennyi: how this will affect exports.
According to ТСН: "Ukrzaliznytsia" reported the disconnection of several railway sections leading to the port of "Pivdennyi" due to enemy attacks.
According to the company's press service, the aggressor country has been shelling the railway energy infrastructure in this direction for the second consecutive day.
"For the second consecutive day, the terrorist country has been striking at the railway energy infrastructure on the routes to the port of Pivdennyi. As a result of the attacks, several railway sections have been disconnected, leading to increased travel time for cargo," the statement said.
Ukrzaliznytsia emphasized that the enemy continues attempts to limit exports from Ukraine through sea ports.
The statement noted that the enemy continues to strike both the port infrastructure and the railway that ensures effective cargo transportation to the ports.
Measures to ensure stability
The agency also reported actions to support stable movement to the port and terminals. Additional locomotives are being engaged, repair units are promptly eliminating the consequences of the strikes, and alternative routes for cargo transportation are being considered.
Earlier, it was reported that on the night of December 13, missile launches of "Caliber" were carried out from the Black Sea.
We previously informed that in Ankara, they stated that the strike on a Turkish vessel confirms their worst fears about the spread of the war to the Black Sea basin.
Problems with railway connections and striking attacks on energy infrastructure underscore the difficult situation Ukraine faces amid ongoing military actions. Authorities and transport companies are taking measures to minimize the consequences and ensure stability in cargo transportation, which is extremely important for the country's economy.
The escalation of attacks on transport infrastructure may significantly affect exports, which is one of the key directions in Ukraine's struggle for economic stability in this difficult time.
