The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has introduced a new simplified procedure for submitting transfer reports for military personnel through the 'Army+' application.

This was announced by the Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov on his Facebook page.

Now, the procedure for transfers only requires two documents: a copy of the military ID card (or officer's certificate) and a recommendation letter from the new brigade.

The requirement to obtain permission from the current commander for enlisted and sergeant personnel has been cancelled.

The Armed Forces Personnel Center will review the submitted documents within 72 hours following a clearly defined procedure. Military personnel will receive notification of the review results through the 'Army+' application, including justification in case of refusal.

According to the minister, the new system provides additional protection of the rights of military personnel - the Ministry of Defense will review unjustified refusals. Military personnel will be able to submit a transfer request no more than once a year and after at least six months of service in the current unit.

'This decision will allow every soldier to more effectively utilize their experience and skills where they are most needed,' highlighted Umerov.

Additionally, the Ministry of Defense has reduced the list of items that soldiers must return after their service.
