On the night of February 11, Russian forces attacked one critical infrastructure facility in the Pryluky region of Chernihiv Oblast. The head of Chernihiv OVA, Vyacheslav Chaus, reported that a strike drone was used and as a result, a fire broke out, damaging outbuildings.

Attack on Kyiv

On the night of February 12, 2025, the Russian side attacked Kyiv and Kryvyi Rih with Iskander-M ballistic missiles. The attack involved 123 strike drones of the Shahed type and simulation drones of other types. We know of the downing of six Iskander-M missiles and 71 Shahed drones in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions.

As reported, as a result of the attack on Kyiv, fires broke out in many areas. The mayor of the capital, Vitali Klitschko, reported that there are casualties and injuries. In the Obolon district, there was one fatality and three injured, including a nine-year-old girl who was hospitalized.

Serhiy Kovalenko, the CEO of Yasno, stated that the attack likely did not cause significant damage to the energy system.
