The Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the Temryuk port and the Sizran oil refinery: details of the attacks

According to ТСН: Units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the infrastructure of the Temryuk seaport and the Sizran oil refinery, as reported by the General Staff.

Damage to the seaport

"The port handles the unloading of general cargo, liquid cargo (liquefied natural gas and chemical cargo), bulk and loose cargo. It is also involved in supporting the Russian occupation army. A hit on the territory of the facility has been recorded, resulting in a subsequent fire," the message states.

Strike on the oil refinery

Strikes were also carried out on the facilities of the Sizran oil refinery, located in the Samara region of Russia, which has an annual processing capacity of 7 to 8.9 million tons of oil.

"A UAV hit on the territory of the refinery has been recorded, resulting in a subsequent fire. Preliminary information indicates that one of the refinery's units has been damaged," the agency added.

Situation in regions of the Russian Federation

Drones also attacked the Krasnodar region of Russia, where the seaport in the city of Temryuk was under fire, causing a large-scale fire. This port is used for the transportation of petroleum products.

Additionally, there was unrest in Chechnya, where drones also arrived.

These strikes underscore the continuation of military actions and Ukraine's attempts to destroy critical infrastructure supporting the Russian army. Both facilities — the Temryuk port and the Sizran oil refinery — have strategic significance for Russia, so their damage could affect the enemy's logistical capabilities. Increased activity is also observed in other regions, indicating an expansion of the front of hostilities.
