Situation with electricity supply in Odesa

According to ТСН: Throughout the day, energy workers from the DTEK company managed to restore electricity supply for almost 30 thousand households in Odesa.

According to the head of the Odesa Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, about 16.8 thousand families in the Peresyp district still remain without electricity. This happened due to a sharp increase in electricity consumption after partial restoration, which led to the failure of important elements of the system.

“The network couldn't withstand it, and three cable lines failed,” noted the head of the OVA.

DTEK energy workers have already begun repairing the damaged lines. Specialists are working on restoration using the necessary equipment and teams. Work will continue through the night.

It should be noted that on the night of December 4, Odesa again suffered an intense attack from enemy drones.

According to information from the State Emergency Service, a fire occurred at the energy infrastructure facility, affecting the administrative building, as well as neighboring apartment buildings and passenger cars.

Restoring electricity supply is complicated by increased electricity consumption and damage to the networks. The situation remains tense, and energy workers are working proactively to restore light to the residents of Odesa as soon as possible. In the context of escalating conflict, it is important to ensure stability in electricity supply, as it is a critical aspect for maintaining the city's livelihood.
