The incident occurred a few days ago when a police officer was escorting a military registration violator to one of the district TCC and SP departments.

According to law enforcement data, the three servicemen, including one in an intoxicated state, began to show aggression towards the police officer, cursing at him. When the policeman reprimanded them, a fight broke out.

Legal Consequences

The police investigators opened a proceeding for the deliberate infliction of bodily harm to a law enforcement officer while performing his official duties. The maximum punishment for this crime is up to five years of imprisonment.

The servicemen of the TCC have been notified of suspicion, they were detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. The police are seeking to impose preventive measures. The investigation is ongoing.

It should be noted that the day before, a man was detained at the Kyiv district TCC in Odesa, who was brought in by the police for violating military registration. He cut his veins during the document processing. According to the military, the self-harm attempt was demonstrative, aimed at avoiding conscription. The TCC noted that the injured person was behaving aggressively, threatening staff with a knife and interfering with medical personnel providing assistance, but was hospitalized.
