The Ukrainian permanent representative to the UN, Serhiy Kyslytsya, presented a video recording of the confession of the commander of the 'Rusich' unit of the Russian army, Oleksiy Mylyachkov, about his sympathy for Nazism.

According to Ukrinform, an informal meeting of the UN Security Council in Arria format was held, where violations of international humanitarian law by Russia regarding Ukrainian prisoners of war and detained civilians were discussed.

In the video shown by Kyslytsya, the Russian serviceman boasts: 'I am a Nazi, I say it outright. I can even raise my hand (in a Nazi salute)'.

The representative stated that the subordinates of this military personnel may engage in cruel acts, such as playing with a decapitated prisoner's head, boasting about it in interviews, or posting announcements on social networks looking for a 'Crimean Tatar for ritual sacrifice' and rejoicing when they perform such a ritual.

Kyslytsya emphasized that the Russian Foreign Ministry is 'teaching its diplomats worldwide' to spread lies and conduct destructive campaigns.

In particular, he mentioned the spread of fakes about the 'Azov' brigade, which has become 'one of the main tools of Russian propaganda since 2014'.

The representative highlighted that Ukrainian fighters of the 'Azov' brigade were among the brave defenders of Mariupol in 2022.

Kyslytsya also stressed that Ukraine regularly brings to the attention of the Security Council evidence of the killings of Ukrainian soldiers after their capture.

The Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine is conducting an investigation into the shooting of 202 Ukrainian prisoners of war, although the actual number of victims is likely higher, he noted.
