On December 15, Ukraine will experience a significant warming: forecasters have given a forecast.

In the western part of the country, the temperature will fluctuate between +3 and +6 degrees, while in the east and northeast small negatives will still hold, down to -3… -1°C.

“Tomorrow, cloudy weather will prevail. In the west, clearings are possible due to the anticyclone. Wet snow is expected in Sumy, Kharkiv, Poltava, and Luhansk regions. There will be no significant precipitation in the rest of the territory; only a slight drizzle is possible,” said Didenko.

In Kyiv, warming up to +2… +4°C is also forecasted. Small precipitation in the capital may manifest itself as drizzle or light rain.

Attention to dangerous phenomena

Recall, the “Ukrhydrometcenter” had warned about dangerous meteorological phenomena in Ukraine. On December 14 at night, ice slicks were observed on the roads in Zhytomyr and Kyiv regions. During the day, the northern, central, and most southern regions are expected to have the accumulation of wet snow, with ice slicks on the roads. The particularly dangerous situation is observed in Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions, where the possibility of icing is high.

The warming in Ukraine will be a pleasant news for many. However, it is important to remain cautious, especially on the roads where dangerous phenomena can complicate movement.
