In Ukraine, there are several seismically active zones where certain risks exist. The most dangerous is the Vrancea zone in Romania, from where most of the earthquakes felt in our country originate. Another hazardous area is Crimea and the Black Sea.
Such an earthquake, although perceptible, usually does not cause significant damage. However, another confirmation of the seismic processes’ activity in the region serves as a reminder of the need to be prepared for emergencies. It is important to follow the news and recommendations from specialists, especially in areas where the risk of earthquakes is more likely.
