Power outages are being reintroduced in Ukraine
Starting from August 19, Ukrainian consumers will again be without electricity. So far, this only concerns one stage of disconnections. This was reported by representatives of "Ukrenergo".
Tomorrow, August 19, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, priority disconnections will be carried out. No restrictions are expected at other times, the company noted.
The decision to cut off the electricity was justified by the increased consumption due to the heat.
Let us remind you that DTEK plans to restore 60-70% of the generation, which it lost as a result of mass shelling in the spring of this year, by October.
Previously, "Ukrenergo" had forecasted a reduction in power outages during August-October. The head of the company, Volodymyr Kudrytskyi, noted that the electricity deficit in the national power system would decrease during August, September, and October, provided there are no new attacks.
