Emergency power outages in several regions: schedules no longer apply

According to ТСН: On the morning of December 9, emergency power outages began in several regions of Ukraine, and the previously published blackout schedules are no longer applicable.

This information was confirmed on the websites of the regional energy companies and the National Energy Company 'Ukrenergo'.

Ukrenergo noted that due to the difficult situation in the energy system, emergency outages have been introduced, and therefore the established schedules are no longer valid.

“The reason for the increased restrictions is the consequences of previous missile and drone attacks. Energy workers are working to restore stable power supply as soon as possible,” Ukrenergo added.

The situation with power outages will be reviewed, and the restoration of schedules is only possible after the stabilization of the energy system.

Where blackout schedules do not apply

Emergency power outages have also been introduced in the Kharkiv region. According to the regional energy company, this is related to significant problems in the energy system.

“Due to the difficult situation in the energy system, under the instruction of 'Ukrenergo', emergency power outages have been implemented in the region,” the company informed.

In the Poltava region, blackout schedules have also been introduced.

“At 07:57, a command was received from 'Ukrenergo' to implement emergency blackout schedules in five phases,” the statement said.

In the territory of Sumy region, emergency outages have also been introduced for phases 1 to 5.

“The phase according to the blackout schedules does not coincide with the phase during hourly outages, please pay attention to this,” the company emphasized.

It is worth noting that the day before, 'Ukrenergo' had introduced blackout schedules that were supposed to be in effect on December 9 from 00:00 to 23:59 in volumes ranging from 2 to 4 phases, including industrial consumers.

The situation with power supply remains tense, as emergency outages continue due to the consequences of missile attacks. 'Ukrenergo' and the regional energy companies are doing everything possible to restore stable power supply, but for now, schedules cannot be restored. People should be prepared for possible interruptions in electricity supply in the near future.
