A cold atmospheric front is approaching Ukraine: what weather to expect on the weekend.
Ukraine expects a sharp change in weather on October 12. This is reported by meteorologist Natalia Didenko.
According to her, the temperature in the western, northern, and central regions will drop to 10-15 degrees. However, the eastern regions, Crimea, the southeast, and Dnipropetrovsk region will still hold warmth with temperatures of 19-23 degrees, but it will become cooler there on Sunday as well.
Heavy rains are expected in the northern, central regions, as well as in Odesa and Kherson regions due to the arrival of the atmospheric front. In the west and east of Ukraine on October 12, no precipitation is expected, except for the Carpathians.
In Kyiv on Saturday, it will be cold: 10-12 degrees above zero. Rain and increased wind are expected. The meteorologist urges citizens to be prepared for worsening weather conditions.
It is also worth noting that the mayor of Kyiv, Vitaliy Klitschko, announced the start of the heating season in the capital from October 14. Heat will be supplied to social sector institutions, such as hospitals, schools, and kindergartens.
