Explosion in Kyiv: serviceman injured, terrorism case opened.

According to ТСН: Today, an explosion occurred in the yard of a house on Heroes of Dnipro Street during the opening of a car trunk.

The police revealed the circumstances of the incident.

«As a result of the explosion, a serviceman received shrapnel wounds. A woman who was nearby was not injured,» the report states.

A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the fact under part 1 of article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — a terrorist act, which involves carrying out an explosion or other actions that may threaten the life or health of people.

It is also reported that today a car exploded in the Obolon district of Kyiv.

Sources in law enforcement agencies have reported that the injured include a man and a woman.
