According to TSN.ua: On March 22, 2023, an explosion of an unknown object occurred inside an ATB supermarket in Chernihiv. Four people sustained injuries and were taken to the hospital. This event unfolded alongside another explosion that took place in the historic center of Chernihiv during an ammunition exhibition.

At the exhibition, a live weapon detonated, resulting in injuries to children. One of the victims, a two-year-old boy, was admitted to intensive care in critical condition. Two military personnel who allowed the child to fire a grenade launcher received prison sentences.
