No Blackouts Scheduled for March 26: Ukrenergo Provides Update on Power Situation.
Electricity Supply Situation in Ukraine
According to TSN.ua: As of March 26, 2023, Ukraine is not expected to experience any power outages across its regions, despite a noticeable increase in electricity consumption. This uptick is driven by weather conditions affecting overall demand and the lingering impact of Russian strikes that have damaged energy infrastructure.
While no planned outages are in effect, several areas continue to face challenges. Residents in the following regions are still without power:
- Kharkiv Oblast
- Poltava Oblast
- Sumy Oblast
- Odesa Oblast
The most severe situation is in Chernihiv Oblast, where hourly blackouts have been introduced.

This indicates short-term stability in Ukraine's energy system. To help manage demand, officials recommend using electricity between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM, while limiting usage from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM. These guidelines are designed to reduce strain on the grid during peak hours.
The energy supply situation across Ukraine remains under control, though regions hit by attacks still struggle with access to electricity. Adhering to rational consumption practices is critical to preventing overloads in the power system. Given the ongoing challenges, such measures support the country's energy stability and help adapt to shifting consumption patterns.
