Ukrainian Strike Drones – The Pride of the Army: What the Chief Sergeant of the 54th Brigade Says.
The Chief Sergeant of the 54th Brigade named after Ivan Mazepa, Maxim Butolin, under the pseudonym 'Hammer', shared his impression of Ukrainian drones. He emphasized that strike and FPV drones of domestic production are a true pride of Ukraine.
'Our defense industry has made a very good step forward. But basically, we have made a better step either in large strike drones like 'Shahed' or in FPV', - the military emphasized.
According to Maxim Butolin, the Ukrainian military-industrial complex is developing rapidly, but the best reconnaissance drones, in his opinion, are manufactured in China and France.
Other Countries in Drone Manufacturing
According to Butolin, the segment of 'wedding' drones, such as Mavic or Autel, has long belonged to the Chinese and French, not Ukrainians, and this niche is not a priority for the Ukrainian defense industry. Recently, Ukraine has been increasing investments in drone production, which was confirmed by Defense Minister Denis Shmyhal.
Moreover, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, revealed information about the detection of Indian components in Russian drones.
Ukrainian drones have received positive feedback from military officer Maxim Butolin, which indicates the rapid development of the Ukrainian military-industrial complex. At the same time, it has been noted that high-quality reconnaissance drones are still manufactured in other countries, such as China and France. Ukraine is working to strengthen drone production to rise to a higher level in the global market.
