Payments to military personnel will not be delayed: how the government will ensure stability.
According to inkorr.com: Payments to military personnel will be made on time, and any temporary liquidity shortages will be compensated by issuing domestic government bonds, said Roksolana Pidlasa, head of the Budget Committee of the Verkhovna Rada.
Bill on Increasing Defense Expenditures
According to the provided information, the bill from the Ministry of Finance on increasing defense spending by 300 billion UAH will not hinder timely payments to the military. Pidlasa noted that the government plans to cover temporary liquidity shortages by issuing bonds.
"There can be and will be no delays in payments to the military," Pidlasa emphasized.
It is expected that the bill will be voted on by November 1, and the government will continue to work on funding the state's defense needs and budget stability.
Establishment of the Military Ombudsman Position
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has adopted a law that provides for the establishment of the position of Military Ombudsman. This person will be responsible for the protection of the rights of military personnel and other individuals related to the security and defense sector, with the aim of improving oversight of compliance with rights in the military sphere.
The Government of Ukraine intends to ensure stable payments to military personnel and overcome temporary liquidity deficits by issuing government bonds. The establishment of the new Military Ombudsman position will also contribute to the protection of the rights of military personnel and oversight of their compliance in this area.
