According to ТСН: This morning, around 04:00, there was an incident in the village of Sokilnyky, Lviv region: a drone struck a residential building, causing an explosion.

The police of Lviv region reported this.

"The police of Lviv region are working at the site of the drone strike on the house. A report about the explosion in a private house in the village of Sokilnyky was received by the police around 04:00," the press service said.

Fortunately, no one was injured. As a result of the explosion, the roof, facade, and several rooms in the house were damaged.

It is worth noting that there was no official warning about the threat posed by unmanned aerial vehicles in the region. Air raid alarms were not declared in Lviv region that night. The last alarm lasted less than an hour on the night of December 7.

The police have not yet clarified which specific drone caused this incident.

Recall that during the attack on the night of December 6, the Russian Federation struck with missiles and drones in Lviv region. As a result of the attack critical infrastructure was damaged and a residential building in the village of Silets in the Sheptytsky district caught fire, where two individuals were injured.

This case underscores the increasing risks associated with the use of drones in the conflict. Although the circumstances of this incident are still being clarified, it indicates that the threat from the air remains relevant to civilian objects even where no air raid alarms have been declared. It is important to exercise caution and stay informed about potential dangers in the region.
