Long before the invasion: Budanov revealed how Russia planned a new genocide in Ukraine.
Russia was preparing for the genocide of Ukrainians long before the invasion - Head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine
Lieutenant General Kyrylo Budanov, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, stated that Russia was preparing for a new genocide of Ukrainians long before the full-scale invasion. He made this statement during a speech at the forum 'Genocidal Practices of Russia in Ukraine: from the Holodomor to the Russian-Ukrainian War.'
Budanov reported that Russia's preparations for the genocide of Ukrainians included creating lists for execution, mobile crematoria, and mass graves. He emphasized that such preparations began long before the start of the full-scale invasion.
'Russia's propaganda, the highest state authorities, officials, and the entire state machine, having received such a blessing from their leader, repeatedly called for the destruction of Ukrainians,' Budanov reminded.
He also noted that Ukrainophobia has become widespread in Russian society. The head of intelligence emphasized that the genocide of Ukrainians is not only state policy in Russia but also a belief that is imposed from above.
We remind that the Main Intelligence Directorate confirmed the existence of a Russian plan for the occupation and division of Ukraine.
