Death of astronaut Kadenyuk's son: police and family doubt the suicide version.

According to ТСН: After the body of 41-year-old Dmytro Kadenyuk, son of the first astronaut of Ukraine, was found dead with stab wounds in Pechersk, Kyiv, the family expressed doubts about the suicide version.

TSN.ua spoke with one of Kadenyuk's relatives, village council employee Tamara Bobik, who shared that Dmytro was a calm man with his own business and treated those around him with respect. She noted that after Leonid Kadenyuk's death, Dmytro rarely visited his hometown.

“I knew him as a decent guy. I don't think it could have been suicide. Perhaps it was a setup. He had wealth, a job, everything.”

Kadenyuk's death: police versions

Kyiv police reported that the suicide version is not yet final, and all circumstances of the death will be clarified during the investigation. There are signs that may indicate the possibility of suicide, but the appointed expert examinations must confirm or refute this version.

According to police information, Dmytro had been suffering from depressive disorders for a long time, and the evening before, he had a nervous breakdown.

Crime expert Ruslan Sushko expressed his opinion on the possible circumstances of Kadenyuk's death, noting that murders can be disguised as suicides.

“In the history of forensic science, this is quite a common phenomenon. There is an expert who proved that even forced drowning of a person can be disguised as suicide.”

Sushko emphasized that for a precise determination of the cause of death, a detailed investigation and examinations are necessary. He also noted that in cases of suicide, there are usually signals from the person who is going through difficult times.

At the same time, the expert commented on the opinions of social media users that a person committing suicide would not do so in their underwear. Sushko pointed out that men usually care less about their appearance in such situations.

At the Small Academy of Sciences, where Dmytro Kadenyuk worked, they also declined to comment during the investigation.

It is worth noting that recently new details emerged indicating that the knife used to inflict bodily injuries was held in the deceased's hand.
