The Death of Su-27 Pilot in the East: PMC Reports Loss of Lieutenant Colonel Ivanov.
According to ТСН: During a combat mission in the eastern part of the country, military pilot - senior navigator of the 39th Tactical Aviation Brigade, Lieutenant Colonel Ivanov Yevgeny Vitalievich, has died.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The tragedy occurred around noon. The serviceman died in battle while piloting a Su-27 aircraft. An investigation into the circumstances of Lieutenant Colonel Ivanov's death is currently underway.
“We express our sincere condolences to the pilot's family and loved ones,” the Air Force reported.
In the Dnipropetrovsk region, two districts were affected by enemy attacks, resulting in the death of a 12-year-old boy. There were also reports of the death of Vasyl Khomko, a former director of “Orel i Reshka,” who decided to abandon his career in the arts to defend the country. The farewell ceremony for him took place recently.
The death of Lieutenant Colonel Ivanov and the tragedy in the Dnipropetrovsk region highlight the severe consequences of combat operations in Ukraine. Every loss of a serviceman is a great sorrow for the country, and the fatal consequences of enemy attacks shock civilians.
