According to TSN.ua: On February 9, Concorde Capital founder Igor Mazepa was involved in a fatal traffic accident on the Zhytomyr highway. A 60-year-old pedestrian died after being struck by the vehicle. The incident occurred around 9:00 PM on the Kyiv-Chop road in the village of Kamiany Maidan, Zviahel district, Zhytomyr region. Mazepa, 49, was driving a Mercedes-Benz when the car hit the pedestrian, who later died en route to the hospital.

Statement from Igor Mazepa

Igor Mazepa stated that he was not fatigued and had not consumed any prohibited substances. The driver underwent a preliminary examination which confirmed he was sober. A criminal case has been initiated under the article 'violation of traffic safety rules' in connection with the event.

Igor Mazepa noted that he is cooperating with the investigation and will provide all details a bit later.
