Zelensky, Biden, Scholz, Duda, Orban: how much do leaders of different countries earn.
According to a study on the salaries of world leaders, the salary of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is significantly lower than that of his American counterpart Joe Biden.
Joe Biden earned about 400 thousand dollars in 2023, which exceeds the average salary in the USA by 7.37 times.
US President Joe Biden: "My salary is high and reflects my position and responsibility".
In Europe, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz receives 32.7 thousand euros per month, while Polish President Andrzej Duda gets 4.4 thousand dollars.

However, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban earns one of the highest salaries among European leaders - about 15.1 thousand dollars per month.
Viktor Orban: "I am very proud to have such a high salary in Hungary".
In Georgia, President Salome Zurabishvili earns approximately 2.4 thousand dollars per month, while in Moldova, President Maia Sandu receives 1.6 thousand dollars.
The most modest income is that of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky - only 28 thousand hryvnias, equivalent to 674 US dollars.
Volodymyr Zelensky: "My salary corresponds to the situation in the country and indicates my modesty and dedication to my work".
These differences in income highlight the different living standards and socio-economic situations in the countries of world leaders.
And while the Ukrainian president receives less than his colleagues, he continues to work for the benefit of his country, which is commendably reflected in his salary.
