Zelensky remains in Warsaw: meeting with Tusk may become a new beginning of relations

According to ТСН: The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that he will remain in Poland for a meeting with Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who is returning from the EU summit.

According to Tusk, during their conversation in Berlin, President Zelensky expressed his dissatisfaction with visiting Poland without meeting the Prime Minister.

Tusk noted that there are important reasons for this meeting, as the Polish government is also implementing its policy regarding Ukraine.

“I warned him that for obvious reasons it is in his interest for me to be present at the Euro Council until the end. He said he would wait in any case,” the Polish Prime Minister reported.

In the evening, President Zelensky arrived on a visit to Warsaw, where he is to meet with the President of Poland Karol Nawrocki the next day.

Thematic agenda of the upcoming meeting

Days before the visit, the office of the Polish President outlined the list of topics to be discussed at the meeting with the President of Ukraine.

Karol Nawrocki emphasized that this meeting could be a "new beginning of relations" between the two countries "with respect for Poland's strategic interests".

This meeting is an important step in the development of bilateral relations between Ukraine and Poland, especially in light of the current challenges and political situation in the region. It is expected that the discussions will strengthen cooperation between the countries and allow for finding new ways to collaborate in various fields.
