Zelensky named the two hottest fronts.
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported that fighting continues in Donetsk, especially active in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhiv directions. He spoke about this after receiving a report from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi regarding the situation at the front line.
Zelensky noted that the Russian army continues to suffer significant losses in battles and assaults, as it was in November and December.
“I thank all our warriors for their resilience. I especially want to commend the soldiers of the 68th Separate Jaeger Brigade, the 25th Separate Airborne Brigade, and the 38th Separate Marine Brigade for their fighting on the front. The Commander-in-Chief also reported on the situation in the areas of the Kursk operation. Our main goal now is to minimize the Russian military potential as much as possible,” the president emphasized.
It was previously reported that Russian troops replenish their units with new soldiers every month.
The largest number of Russian troops is concentrated in three directions in the Donetsk region - about 150,000 people.
The commander of the 108th Battalion “Wolves of Da Vinci” Serhii Filimonov indicated incompetent command of the troops as one of the main reasons for the difficult situation of the Ukrainian troops in the Pokrovsk direction.
