President Volodymyr Zelensky met with representatives of the EU and Belgium

Volodymyr Zelensky, the President of Ukraine, held a series of important meetings in Brussels on March 6. The main topics of discussion were Ukraine's defense capabilities, integration into the European Union, and achieving a just peace.

'Thank you for your leadership in discussing the enhancement of Europe's defense and strengthening Ukraine, for all the support on the path to a just and sustainable peace,' - Zelensky wrote on social media.

Zelensky discussed air defense issues, arming and ammunition supply, the development of the defense-industrial complex, and negotiations regarding Ukraine's EU membership with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President Antonio Costa.

A separate meeting with Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever was dedicated to expressing gratitude for the provided assistance, particularly the transfer of F-16 aircraft. Zelensky also informed the Belgian Prime Minister about the preparation of a European plan to achieve a just peace and invited him to join the work on this document.

In addition, defense needs were discussed, including the supply of artillery systems and shells, as well as investments in Ukrainian drones and missiles that have proven their effectiveness at the front.

The meeting also addressed the issue of Ukraine's integration into the European Union.
