Zelensky reported how many drones the enemy launched against Ukraine this week.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported that Russia attacked Ukraine with more than 20 missiles, 800 guided aerial bombs, and 500 strike drones from October 14 to 20. He emphasized that this demonstrates the terror that Russia is perpetrating against the Ukrainian population.
«Every day, Russia strikes our cities and communities. Conscious terror of the enemy against our people. This week, Russian terrorists used more than 20 missiles of various types, about 800 guided aerial bombs, and over 500 strike drones of different types against Ukraine», Zelensky stated.
The president also noted that Ukraine needs more air defense systems and long-range missiles. He expressed gratitude to all partners who support Ukraine in this matter.
Let us recall that the Russians massively attacked Ukrainian regions with ballistic missiles and drones on October 19 and 20. Explosions were heard in the capital and some regions of Ukraine.
Kharkiv and Sumy suffered from these attacks. In Sumy, electricity was cut off, and water supply disappeared in some areas. Moreover, on October 19, Kryvyi Rih was attacked twice, resulting in 17 people injured, including a rescuer.
